平抑风电功率波动及负荷调峰的VRB储能应用

摘要(Abstract):

由于风能的随机性与间歇性,大规模风电并网对电网的安全经济运行带来诸多不利影响。VRB(全钒液流电池)因其功率和电量解耦、可灵活设计和安全可靠等优点,成为大规模储能系统的理想选择之一。介绍了国内5 MW/10 MWh VRB储能系统的原理、特性及电气接线形式,并基于某风电场的风电功率实测数据,对VRB储能系统运行特性及调峰能力进行系统分析,验证了储能系统平抑大规模风电场功率波动、参与系统调峰的有效性和可用性。
Wind power has random and intermittent characteristics. The integration of large-scale wind power will cause many adverse effects on the safety and economic operation of the power grid. Vanadium redox flow battery(VRB) has the advantages of decoupled power and quantity, flexible design, excellent charge and discharge performance and characteristics of safety and reliability, thus it has become one of the best energy storage systems. This paper introduces the principle, features and electrical wiring mode of the 5 MW/10 MWh VRB energy storage system. Based on the measured wind power data of a wind farm over a period of time,the operation characteristics and peak regulation capacity of the VRB energy storage system are analyzed systematically. The effectiveness and availability of the energy storage system in suppressing the power fluctuations of large-scale wind farms and participating in the peak regulation of the system are verified.
