摘要(Abstract)：

传输时延是SDH光传输系统的一项重要性能指标。介绍SDH光传输系统的时延构成,并结合绍兴地区电力系统通信的SDH光网络,介绍了通过测试计算SDH网元的3种时延、相邻网元之间的光缆长度、业务在起止站点间的传输时延的方法。按照文章介绍的方法可以测算出不同厂家、不同型号、不同速率的SDH光传输设备的传输时延。
The transmission delay is an important performance indicator of synchronous digital hierarchy(SDH) based optical transmission system.This paper introduces the composition of time delay in the system and the test and calculation method of three types of the time delay of SDH network elements,the length of optical cable between adjacent network elements and the transmission delay of traffic between start-stop stations based on the SDH optical network for electric power communications in Shaoxing.According to the method involved,transmission delay of SDH optical transmission equipments of different manufacturers,models and rates can be worked out.
