集成故障阻断能力的DC/DC自耦变换器

摘要(Abstract):

高压大容量DC/DC变换器是多电压等级直流互联的关键设备,能够实现电压变换和直流侧故障隔离等功能。使DC/DC变换器具备直流故障阻断能力,减少对直流断路器的依赖,能够在很大程度上降低建设成本。为此,提出一种基于半桥型模块化多电平换流器串联的DC/DC自耦变换器拓扑。在功率正送和功率反送两种工况下,分析DC/DC变换器两侧分别发生直流双极短路故障后的故障响应,并提出对应的故障隔离策略。针对不同工况下的双极短路故障,在PSCAD/EMTDC平台上进行仿真。仿真结果表明所提出变换器具备双向阻断直流故障的能力,与其他类型的DC/DC自耦变换器的对比分析结果验证了所提出变换器的经济性。
As crucial equipment for multi-voltage DC interconnection, high-capacity high-voltage DC/DC converters can be used for voltage conversion and DC fault isolation. The DC/DC autotransformer capable of blocking DC faults and reducing their reliance on DC circuit breakers can significantly reduce construction costs. To this end, a DC/DC autotransformer topology with half-bridge modular multilevel converters(HB-MMCs) connected in series is proposed. The fault response after a DC bipolar short-circuit fault on each side of the DC/DC autotransformer is analyzed under two operating conditions: forward power feeding and reverse power feeding. A corresponding fault isolation strategy is proposed. Simulations are performed on the PSCAD/EMTDC platform for the bipolar short-circuit faults under different operating conditions. The simulation results show that the proposed autotransformer can block DC faults in two directions. In contrast to other types of DC/DC autotransformers, the proposed autotransformer is economical.
