一起柔性直流输电电缆双极短路故障分析

摘要(Abstract):

交联聚乙烯绝缘高压直流电缆是实现多端柔性直流输电的关键设备。我国自2012年起,先后有采用±160 kV,±200 kV,±320 kV交联聚乙烯绝缘高压直流电缆的柔性直流输电工程成功投入运行,电缆运行状态和故障隐患是普遍关心的问题。介绍了一起舟山柔性直流输电工程±200 kV高压直流电缆双极短路故障,对故障电缆进行了解体检查、击穿通道观察以及介电、理化性能评估,从电缆设计绝缘水平、劣化和空间电荷的影响、单极接地故障过电压特性及其对直流电缆运行击穿特性的影响等方面分析了故障原因。
High voltage DC-XLPE cables are critical devices for multi-terminal VSC-HVDC transmission.Since 2012, VSC-HVDC projects with ±160 kV, ±200 kV and ±320 kV high voltage DC-XLPE cables have been put into operation successively in China, and cable operation status and potential troubles and faults is a common concern. This paper introduces a bipolar short circuit fault of ±200 kV HVDC cable of Zhoushan VSC-HVDC transmission project. The disassembly examination, observation of breakdown channels, and assessment of dielectical, physical and chemical properties of the faulted cables were performed. The design insulation level of cable, effect of degradation and space charge, overvoltage characteristics of unipolar grounding fault and its impact on operating breakdown characteristics of HVDC cable were analyzed to reveal fault cause.
